i would clean it for the main reason that a lubricant on a traction surface is never a good idea... same thing if it got on rotors/drums, etc.

I don't think it'll be a problem, but heat cycles will likely make more oil soak out. That'll decrease traction a bit.

No traction problems at all. I only noticed it because I was getting out of the truck the other day and saw the inner sidewall had oil all over it.

wash it off with some dish soap and you should be fine.
