Anything like Nair for guys' beards? I can't/hate shaving

I have super sensitive skin and shaving just kills me

I could eliminate 30 minutes of time in the mornings if I didn't have to shave. I've tried all the different foams/gels, all the different razors/electrics (even top of the line $200 electrics) and nada. Nothing gets close and no matter what it kills my skin. I don't even dare to try shaving against the grain.

Is there anything like Nads (tee hee) or Nair for guys' faces (would be handy for the back of the neck too)?

I know it doesn't sound manly, but I can't have a beard (don't want one anyway) at work, and have to be clean shaven.

It'd be so much better if I could get something that would get rid of it for a week or so at least.

Any ideaS?

There is Nair for Men. I got a free sample on the intarweb from the Hot Deals section of teh [H] but I haven't tried it yet. I hate mustache hair so I would love for it to work on that. There are warnings about using it on your face, tho.

I've never tried it myself. And I never plan on trying it. I've heard stories ranging from "it works great!" to "your face will turn tomato red for a solid month" Thats enough to scare me away from it.

go to the store. look on the shaving aisle. specifically, look for stuff with black men on them. most of them are depillatories for men's faces. they STINK though. but many black men have to use them or they get bumps all over their neck. my buddy has to use it about once every 4-6 days and almost always looks clean shaven.

a few years ago i saw tons of commericals for some product like nair that they used on this guy's face and back and it had no apparent side affects... actually didnt even have to save the guy... just put it on and used a towel to wipe off the cream with the hair... kinda gross but cool how it worked. i forget the name of the product but maybe somebody else remembers...

you could probably use nair for women... um... the stuff for bikini lines or for sensitive skin would probably work pretty good. It doesn't smell that great, but it works okay.

Very interesting. I was looking on the web, and indeed they are on black sites like ebonyman.com or whatever. Wonder why it's marketed towards them. There some skin problem they have that other folks don't?

Pretty cheap stuff, I'll have to check it out. I don't care if it stinks like poonafish if it gets the job done.

I have to agree with the comment about the stuff from walmart. My wife used to work at a Spa and they had a product called Tendskin. I usually break out after shaving but with this stuff I wouldn't. It was expensive as hell but I found a product similar to it at Wally World. All it is is rubbing alcohol with aspirin in it. You don't break out and the aspirin kills the pain......after the alcohol makes you scream like a woman. The price you pay for a clean shave.

Love the Rodney Carrington quote. Thought I'd use nair on my balls. Put nair on, let nair sit, go to wash nair off. Water hits hair, hair falls off goes down drain, water hits nuts, nuts fall off, go down drain. Said it was like a midget with a tiki torch running around after him for a week.
