i dont know how many of you will agree, but Worms: Armageddon is one IMO, its cheap now (if you can find it) and its a great game, especially if you get known among the community.

Great story, excellent gameplay you can play over and over, Tons of mods and total conversions for it, it's the half-life of the RTS world.
the community really helps keep it together too now since microsoft bought out bungie and took down b.net

I remember getting up early before school just to cram a few matches in, usually the quickest matches i could get done was body count on the arena map with the trow, those usually always went over quick
