Once I manage to stabalize my expenses and income I'm going to try saving up to buy myself a Ka-Bar , to hang in my room or something. Those things are so damn cool.

Not too much. School, work, more school...the usual.

They are great!

The 20" AK (the big one in the picture above) got sold to a friend, so I got a 21" Ganga Ram Special!

how is it? i'm looking for a 'daily carrier' that's legal in nyc, and that knife seems to fit the description, but the price looks rather low. i'd get a benchmade, but all the seemingly legal ones have blades that are really small. i can't seem to find a *non balisong/locking/fixed/automatic knife that is 4" or less and good quality.

What are you looking for? Not knowing more than what you just posted, I'd give you the following suggestions:

1. Spyderco Delia FRN ($70)
2. Benchmade Griptillian ($95)
3. Benchmade 940 ($180)
4. William Henry T-12CF ($240, if you can find one anymore)

the 940 seems quite good. i found a teflon version for $109 here http://www.dragonflyproducts.com/Mer...tegory_Code=Be

is the teflon or regular version more suitable for every day usage?

i may purchase this if it's legal for nyc.

The black teflon coating will wear off with use. I happen to like the regular model better. (that is what I have)

BTW, that is an insnae low price if that is legit.

It's not that bad. I've decided I hate the fact that the blade is black though, as it is a PITA to try to sharpen it without accidently scraping some of the paint off of the blade.
