Thats an awesome deal, but make sure to scout out the gym first, and make sure its what you want.

DAMN I wish we had a 24 hour gym around here. I'm at work or school from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, and I'm not enough of a morning person to work out early.

Yes, that's a pretty good deal. Or at least it would be around here.

gyms make all their money off of people who buy outrageous member fees and use it maybe once or twice. For that kind of money, just get a barbell, some weights, and a barbell holder. maybe some dumbells too. You can do a shitload of workouts with a barbell and dumbell.

i wouldnt start off with a 3 year membership though just cause you think you'll stick with it.

I pay like $24.99 a month at 24 hour fitness. I was told about a deal like that when I signed up but 3 years is too long to commit to for me. I signed a 1 year contract for dsl and after 2 months wanted to switch to cable.

you should try going for 3 months. If you actually work out and like it, then get the deal. Otherwise, you'll be dicked out of $600

You could put together a pretty decent home gym for a lot less than 600 dollars.

Thats me. Why would I work out when I can not workout and watch tv? Spending a large amount of cash on an evil gym might be the motivation I need, got to get my revenge on them by working out every day.

That seems like a shitload of money...I would go and buy some weights for home rather than blow all of that cash for a membership to a gym.

My university offers me an alumni pass of $65 for a year of unlimited access to the gym, but as far as time is concerned, I'd still rather just go into my basement a couple of hours a week and workout. It's so much more convenient.

Doesn't work for me. Why go to the gym if you can not go to the gym? It's the same attitude.
