we have three different sizes for washers. small, medium and large. they cost $1.50, $2.00 and $3.00 respectively, i always use the $3 washer seeing as how i can fit about 3 loads in there. after that there are two different sized driers. small and large. 25 cents will buy you 7 minutes in the small dryer and 5 minutes in the large dryer.

speaking of laundry, the other day at the laundromat i saw a young kid come in with a duffel bag full of laundry. he threw the whole thing in the washer without taking the clothes out of the bag. set the machine running, poured in some soap and took off. lol would've loved to see how it all turned out for him

my old loft didn't even have connections and that was a total pain in the ass. building was over 100 though. think it was about 120.
