I have the g9 mouse and its awesome. Tried out the headphones but theyre wayyyy to bulky so I returned them. Also was able to try the g19 keyboard at CES earlier this year and its awesome. I cant justify a 200$ keyboard though.

I just realized Im a logitech whore... Ive got the G11 Keyboard, G500 mouse (Logitech upgraded me when my G5 died), and the G330 headphones. Im am very happy with all their products though. When it comes to the mice, I prefer the G500 over the G7/9, it just feels nicer in my hand.

G500 users: is that rectangular button right on the top behind the wheel programmable?

I don't know, but on the Logitech mice I've had so far (mx700, mx1000, mx510, mx518 and probably more) all buttons are programmable. I use the 'task switch' button on the MX518 as middle-click for example, works just fine.

So I'm going to make a wild guess and say that you'll be able to map those buttons to whatever you please

Thats it? No Logitech Speakers? No Logitech Harmony Remote? Webcam? Joystick?

You are not a true whore until every single peripheral you own is Logitech

And theres something wrong with the way a Logitech keyboard types?

Ive had the same Logitech Navigator Duo (I think) keyboard for the past... hell, think its been about 9 years, and still still works perfectly.. and I do not treat it well at all (including slamming my fist down on it very hard many times). Ive used it so much my finger nails have dug into the arrow keys (use them for movement in games). They last forever, and to me the typing feel is just right.

Also, different people like different characteristics, especially for gaming. Button travel, resistance, spring rate, etc. All we can suggest is that the OP visit a store and try em out.
