Meh yeah kinda... It's probably the best frame/suspension ever created by Chrysler. More of a 2nd car for aging baby boomers though.

This one time I saw two dudes kissing in a park...

and that was the gayest thing I had ever seen until I saw a chrysler prowler.

I bet you like the Chevy SSR too.

Chevy SSR had good performance and a car chassis, didn't it?

Didn't GM work w/ Holden for a concept w/ more performance? or did that die off

That article is actually pretty good. He goes where people are afraid to tread, like the Model T or the first V8 to come out of Detroit.

The Model T was in fact a piece of shit, and worse yet it instilled the concept of individual internal combustion transportation for everyone, as opposed to public transportation for the masses leaving well built cars in the hands of enthusiasts.

I thought it was laughably bad and ill-researched, like a lot of articles in that magazine. But you wouldn't know what I am talking about, because 600 round assault clips for $24.99 are a danger to children.

nope. based on the trailblazer chassis and only did 0-60 in 7.7 with a V8.

and between the folding hard top, high sides and permanent tonneau cover, it made the truck bed entirely useless for anything but about the same amount of groceries you could fit in a normal car trunk.

chevy succeeded in making a hideously ugly truck that was about as useful as a truck as a prius.

The person who wrote it has a much broader perspective on cars than you or I do. He gives away some of the cars he has owned and restored if you actually read it.

The EV1 shouldn't be on there. There was nothing wrong with it besides the lead acid batteries and they killed it right about the time they could have been retrofitted with Li batteries that would have lasted twice as long. Hell, those things could still be on the road today with how few moving parts they had.

I've heard the EV1 was good. My neighbor had one for a few years where my parents live.

Same with the 2002 7 series; he writes: "Perfectly constructed, astonishingly fast and utterly besotted with technology, the big, gracious 7-series had but two flaws: The first was something called iDrive... the other is bangle butt"

I never had any problems with iDrive. I think those that did blew their inability to deal with technology out of proportion and it became somewhat of a cliche. Couple years later everyone got used to it and most manufacturers use some version of the same thing. Bangle-butt is not great but hardly enough to ruin the lines of the entire car IMO.

Stop talking out of your asshole; this is suppose to be an informed forum of car enthusiasts!

The SSR was a retarded abortion Sport-Car-Truck-Thing built on a Trailblazer SUV chassis with a gimped LS motor (5.3L) except for some managing to get a proper LS2. The HHR was their more reliable than the PT Cruiser competition, but it was still retarded looking by most normal person standards.
