There needs to be an option to use a 'classic' controller in place of the motion controls.

Twilight Princess was fucking sweet, you shut your heathen mouth

If you're talking about the GC version, yeah, it wasn't bad at all. I tried playing the Wii version not long ago, and holy shit the motion controls gave me a fit.

Also, everyone knows the best Zelda game was Okami

All we need is multi-touch screens.

That will be the end of any new 'intuitive interface' wars.

The only reason multi-touch screens have yet to take over is because there ridiculously expensive.

Another 4 years and raytracing could be done realtime...

iray will be out pretty soon, 4 more years of GPU speed doubling and iray type stuff could be going realtime

well since larabee is out (unless next gen is 5+ years away), maybe something like amd's apu is a possibility?

you have to think at some point the only difference between a "computer" and a "video game" is going to be consumer ignorance.

Im ok with it, this gen has a lot of time left. I still see the library of ps3 and xbox 360 is relatively small and there is a lot to get out of the existing consoles. Also, who knows, maybe motion control is a fad.

Well with IBM canceling development of the cell processor with 16 cores.....the other day I read about an intel chip with 32 cores, I guess we know what'll be in the PS4

PS3 and Xbox have a few more years left in them. The Wii, I'm not so sure about.

I realized yesterday when a friend asked for her Super Mario Galaxy cd back that i havn't played my wii since last christmas when she loaned me Super Mario Galaxy.

Msft and Sony would LIKE to milk 10 more years out of their current gen consoles.

Oh, hell no!

I don't know about you, but I personally don't want to be standing up in the front of my living room with my face shoved up against my 55" LCD and dragging my fingers all over trying to play a game. That really just sounds like massive fail..

I honestly don't think this is a problem. They'll make there few games that user the motion sensor stuff but they'll still obviously make plenty of games that wont use it. If you don't like the idea, don't buy the games that use it, if you like it, buy the games that use it. I personally like the idea and will buy it but it only works for casual games and those are the kind of games that will use it.

the xbox motion control actually looks pretty cool. I liked that there are no controllers and it follows all your body movements, not just what you do with your arm.
