I just finished playing my mexican copy. Without any bias on MP. this game was mediocre at best and I stopped twice out of bordem. Seriously this is just an expansion, the predators are cool but get old after the third time. the bloody screen is beyond annoying. When the original mw came out i was really excited and the features were fun, namely the c130 mission. but this game lacked a lot of excitement for me. the wolverines mission was a fun gimmick though. all in all i'm glad i saved my 60 dollars and i will be going back to playing war mode on COD WAW.

That Rio mission made me a very angry individual.

So far I feel like the missions are just carrying you along. Like your actions have no real impact on the events that are unfolding. It's just like watching a movie, you feel like you're there with the good guys and you're enjoying all the action but no matter what you do, you're never truly part of it. I dunno, the game certainly is packed full of action but it seems, at least to me, too much has been packed in.

I don't really know how else to put it.

oh ya, is it the same shit where you can sit there in SP and kill literally 300 enemies while sitting in the same spot, or you could just run past a "line" and only have to kill 2?

They eliminated infinite enemy spawning, once you kill everyone in a given area, more will not appear.

oh, well that is good, the game just went up on my "to buy" list.

What they really need to do is release a MP demo so people can see how all the changes work.

SP was short, and just an expansion to the first campaign. MP is well worth it though.

Yes, very much so. Did you keep your team alive?

I tried to for the first couple times, but kept getting killed. Once they died and I got out of the first shack and started going up the hill, it got much easier.

Single player is awesome, you can bitch about it being short but really MW2 is/was about the multi. Multiplayer is fun, I spent a good 6 hours playing last night and had a blast. Spent another 2 on Special Ops which is pretty fun too (Big Brother mission is the best imo).

There were some pretty awesome missions after that Rio shit. (And the missions before that one were good too)...I think I liked the story in the first one better. They had some pretty epic shit in the first MW.

There was the sniper level which was all kinds of awesome....and then the freaking nuke scene!

MW2 had some cool stuff too (return of Price was sweet) but not quite as cool. I was f'ing sure though that we were going to get to drop a nuke on Russia. I was just waiting for a stealh bomber level.

That probably has something to do with the story in MW being coherent. I don't know who laid out the story for MW2, but I'm pretty damned sure it wasn't the same people as MW.

It almost seems like some dumbass kept coming up with "you know what'd be cool?" moments and then forcing them to be included in the game. I'm not going to get into spoilers, but did anybody else notice how loose and disconnected the story seemed?

I just started playing the single player (Thanks, Skidrow!), and jesus christ this locked FOV is awful. The game is fun so far, but it's just so obnoxious.
