So how are they compared to getting hit with a paint ball?

A guy in my unit is heavy into paint ball (he was in an xbox game ) and he told me it hurt less than a paint ball. I've never been hit with a paint ball though.

The ones we used, used 9mm rounds. Had to change our upper receivers on our m16's. I dont know if they make rifle caliber ones. They would have to though to get any kind of real range out of them

According to their website, they have FX marking rounds in 9mm, .38 and 5.56.

Too bad it's restricted to LEO and Military use, although it's probably for the best. I could see some people getting into A LOT of trouble going around pointing assault rifles at their friends.

The 9mm we used were filled with paint. So, marking rounds. Casings were still metal Looked like any other 9mm round other than the tip being clear plastic blue or red. Also had to change the bolt, buffer, and buffer spring. The bolt was real light weight too. Had lots of the solid parts of it cut out.
So theyre like paintballs fired with gun powder. I'm sure the 556 ones are fucking nasty though.

Yeah, Ive watched two episodes so far. One is where hes in a snowy wooded area and another is where hes in this abandoned hospital. Great show.

Although something is telling me some of it may be choreographed, I still enjoy it.

Watched the hostage on a boat one last night. It was entertaining for sure but there were a few moments that I thought were a little too convenient for him. Like when he was hiding towards the beginning and they were sweeping the boat. As soon as he was about to step up on the last step where the opfor could see him the opfor was radioed to come back to a shipment....
I liked it though

they're plastic, they could do serious injury if they hit you in the eye or ear. I've gone through MOUT training areas on a certain marine corps base after training and fiddled with those rounds. They do indeed look like they hurt.
