Got myself a new toy today. And since I do not order online, but rather buy in shops, where I can try out... there will be unbagging instead of unboxing.

What is it?

So I do have a box after all.

That is what it looks like unboxed.

Picture of my pet-moose in front of the box.

No knife, but an old (t)rusty can-opener.

Test-shots: Focused at infinity -> Landscape. Yeah I know, way to go buying a macro lens for landscape. It actually works pretty good tho.

Another test shot of a toad my girlfriend found. Since I didn't have a tripod and wanted at least a little depth of field this is pretty high iso.

No postprocessing other than resizing and contrast was used.

Mainly will use the lens for flowers.

I wish I would meet up with Ran3find3r in a deserted area every once in a while.

Wooooooo ! my D3 needs feeding... Hope this is sufficient !

Seems like the gear thread hasn't been updated in ages... So I decided to buy something, just to make a post ! or maybe it was the other way around !

Anyways, as I do more and more model-portrait work, I thought it would be a good time to invest in some nice glass which will hopefully keep me satisfied for a looong time !

No pets here in my appartment, but I did get a wide open shot of a package of candy... Thought you guys might appriciate the name of it...

And jeeebus, this think is sharp, and the bokeh is sooo smoooth... i love it allready, and i've only had it for 50 minutes

Time to dust off the old trusty Kershaw... I wonder what this intriguing brown package contains!

Oooh.... what's this, bubblewrap?? this better be good !

Behold... The king of Bokeh ! or so i've heard !

The build quality of this thing is awesome... The crinkle finish is sooo nice

No pets, only spunk !

That title belongs to Minolta's (now Sony's) 135mm F2.8/T4.5 STF

plus I can now take color photos without changing my style !

You have my attention, now tell me what camera that is. I have never seen that before. Am I missing something or is it just that old?
