do those HIDs turn into corners?

When you turn, you actually slightly push the bars the other direction from the turn you are coming into -- if they were bar-mounted to turn with the front suspension instead of the frame, they'd be going away from the turn, not into it.

oh, they are bar (well, triple clamp) mounted - but that doesn't mean they turn into corners.

true you gotta get the bike to lean over but that's just at the very first, I thought it might make a decent difference just by being mechanically fixed to the forks through the rest of the turn. Most bikes have the light fixed to the stationary fairing afaik, I hadn't seen that before.

Does any bike have an assisted turn headlight feature? Like some huge BMW or goldwing Seems good if you ride at night.

Stop lurking the bike thread and go get one, you sound like you'd enjoy it. BMW even makes bikes, so you can still keep your bluetooth and polo shirt on when you ride.

it's not lurking when you're spamming away is it?

I've been considering it, I want a little tiny bike though. Something cheap and really little. Liek someone else pointed out I'd get more for my money with an older bigger bike though. A lot to consider and I'm basically down to nothing after the bills clear every month in my checking account right now anyway :hmm: Not toy time

I'll just lurk some more. Some of these bikes you guys post give me a fuckin :hardon: though, so I'm getting ideas if you will.

I'm not a fan of fairing mounted headlights. To me, a headlight that turns with the bars is one of the things that defines a motorcycle, right after 2 wheels and an engine.

Lay on the tankbag and hook the top of your feet on the passenger pegs.

Would there be any reason not to 'shim' a clutch lever? The throw on it is too far for my tiny girl hands to reach comfortably, and it's straining the shit out of my wrist and tendons along my upper hand. I was planning on just disconnecting the clutch cable, then throwing a few washers on it so the reach is much closer.

The brake lever is adjustable, but the clutch is not.

If all you're doing is taking up slack in the cable, it would work but you should be able to adjust that slack out with the threaded adjusters at either end.

Do you have a cycle salvage near you? Just go and grab clutch levers until you find something that works. As long as your turn signals and everything aren't as one piece with the perch anything with 7/8ths bars (jap bikes) should work.

no, not taking up slack - reducing the throw/how far away the lever is from the grip. With my palm on the grip, I have to grab the lever by the tips of my fingers... reaching like that is raping the shit outta my hand. So I was just thinking of shimming the hinge so it'd be closer, you know?
