what to-do bored on headphones??

I work at google where im constantly on the computer and have to type for long periods of hours a day.

I am able to listen through my ipod, but dont really have the time to look at video.
Music is efficient for me but gets boring.
I listen to Family Guy on my ipod gets through the day well

I was wondering if anyone does anything else better just listening through headphones?

Is there any comedys, tutorials, anything entertaining that will keep me up throughout the day?

TV episodes that are fun even without the video??

any comments, suggestions, ideas, or comments are appreciated.

Comedians is a good idea...pretty much any comedian nowadays have extended albums of their shows. Just go to comedy central and find some people you find funny....

I'm also thinking that maybe get some pod casts...like adam carolla. Also NPR.org has a lot of awesome podcasts, NPR rocks...

you guys are saying that a guy that sits at a computer listening to music or similar needs to get a new job? really?

I've never NOT listened to music as part of my regular work day the entire time I've worked in front of a computer.

Music is fine, he's looking for something more than that, something that to me, takes his focus and concentration away from his actual job. Music is background noise, books on tape, comedians etc are things you have to actively pay attention to, thus distracting from work. If he's a security guard watching cameras in a room somewhere, sure. If he's supposed to be a productive member of a team, I think it's a problem. As a manager, I'd be bothered by any of my team members being so bored or unattached to their projects as to need some kind of active distraction from it.

frak i'd love to be able to listen to music while at work. But they frown upon teachers listening to Behemoth in front of elementary students.
wonder why?

Check out Munchcast podcast. all about candy/snack/weird food related shit

Also, google podcasts for hobbies you like

I work at a golf course on a mower (fairways, greens, rough etc) 80% of the day so I get lots of time for music
