Need your help hacking up an Ikea desk

I'm in the middle of designing/building a desk out of Ikea parts and need some help finding some things. First I need 4 legs like these:

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20049538

but I need them to be at least 10 - 11" (the max height is 8" in the link given). These will go under a shelf resting on the top of the desk.

What would you guys recommend I use? Doesn't need to be Ikea parts, I've been all through there today. I just need something that'll get the job done and look somewhat aesthetically pleasing.

Pipe and floor flanges come to mind but the look is more industrial than elegant

You could probably also hack up bathroom railing like the type in showers for elderly and handicapped. Would have a better finish

the background check and I heard they cross check it grade for grades with the unofficial one you provided before interviewing to see if you lied about anything
