Anyway, let me know the size, I'm assuming it's a gold band, right? I can't wear anything but gold...sensitive skin (hence the reason I have no jewery hehe)

If not me, well then guys, Valentine's day is coming up. But if you think your girl may breazk things off, make sure she's the type to give it back, not pocket it and run.

the size is 8 14k gold band 1/4 carat diamond

If this is a sensitive topic, just ignore me for bringing it up, but I have to ask.

After more than 2 years together, during most of which you had expressed a "promise" of sorts to her, why didn't you get engaged? Are you still too young to be ready to be married?

Again, ignore me if I step on any toes, but if you're in your mid twenties or so and are avoiding marriage to someone you'd been with for years, maybe she was right to end it. It's mean and sad to say, but if you weren't expressing any more permanent committment, maybe she felt you never would.

we started dating when i was 18 and she was 16....i got the ring when i left for college, cuz she was worried bout the relationship lasting, so i got it to try to show her i was committed.....then 3 years later, she being 19 and myself 21, she broke things off, it has now been a year since we have been broken up, and she just gave me back the ring a few days ago....dunno why, just out of no where i get a package in the mail, and there it is......also, i live in wisconsin, and she moved to georgia.......so....anyways

My whole opinion is this: Once you give jewelry to a girl, it's given. Especially if you bought it specifically for her. Nefver take it back, even if they try to give it back to you unless you know you can get a full refund.

I bought a girl that I wasn't even dating a diamond cross necklace once. Only paid $90 on E-Bay, but at the time, it was a major gesture. I've never gotten anywhere with said girl (yet) but I would never think of asking for the necklace back.

and i didn't ask for it back, i just got it in the mail....she lives 1800 miles away from me now, in the letter, she stated that she didn't deserve it blah blah, and she felt bad having it, blah blah....so i didn't ask for it back, and didn't expect her to return it, but she did, and i'm just try'n to make the most out of it, pick myself up, brush myself off, and continue on.....
