I'm selling my 2001 ninja 250. It was an awesome bike to learn on. I used it all last summer and it worked perfectly.

I'll be getting a 1987 cbr 600. It's actually going to cost a little bit less than my ninja 250 so thats cool.

edit: ninja sold

No they pass tests just as well as others. Get one If you want. But they suck.

Heavy. Super cheap pads. Probably NO vents. Ugly looking thing with a big BELL sticker on it. Just pay the extra 20 and get a kbc tk-8 or something.

Has vents. Didnt seem heavy but obviously i wouldnt be able to tell since i had nothing to compare it to. No bell sticker on it. They had white like i wanted. 80 bucks.

What exactly sucks about the pads if you dont mind elaborating?

yea what hunter said. Its passed the same safety standards its just lacking bling.

COULD BE nosier in the wind, stuffy bad air circulation, non replaceable windscreen, non replaceable inner pads, ugly... shit like that
Or it could be better than a $300 helmet. You really wont tell till youve ridden with a few different brands.

More than likely its 100% fine for your first helmet... cause you dont know any better.

I went back to the motoworld near my work yesterday, they had actually marked down the jacket from 120 to 80, so i picked it up then. Shitty picture because my cameras batteries are dying and i only have 5 seconds to take a pic before it cuts out:

edit: its an icon team merc jacket

Nice jacket. Sweet price too. I love my Icon Motorhead Jacket:

Cost $400 though!

Laid my bike down and it didn't hurt the jacket though, so it was worth it.

Nice jacket......Does all that stuff fit in it?

Why do you have what looks like 2 knifes, some kind of spy phone, 3 pair of keys, a laster watch and a torch?

Are you some kind of knife wheelding motorcycle riding ninja terrorist spy?

For the love of god, don't put all that shit in your jacket. In fact, don't put anything hard in your jacket. I know of a few people who ended up with broken ribs, or at minimum, very very painful cellphone-shaped bruises because of it. Get a tankbag, or some other container to stow your shit in. I can see keys being particularly dangerous.

Hmmm...used to carry electronics in my jacket pocket till I highsided the ratbike and crushed my camera.

Now I only carry my leatherman, LED flashlight, marbles and ZipTies in it.
