“Lol.” “OMG.” “a/s/l?” Is this just playful Internet lingo or a rapist’s secret code? Police finally tracked down and arrested a notorious Internet stalker. He was six years old.

The child was arrested on charges of molesting a person that he solicited online in a trading card chatroom. “He acted completely normal. We kept up a long distance relationship and then he finally asked me if I wanted to meet him at a mall close to where he lived,” Says <blank>, a 94-year-old man, the latest victim in a rash of internet-related molestation cases. “I drove there in my van, and I thought to myself, ‘Where is she?’ And then this little kid came out of nowhere and tied me up. Then he tried to pee on me.”

We have to wonder, how safe is the Internet when a six-year-old can attempt to rape our greatest generation over a modem?

What do you think so far? I just need to find a picture of a midget with handcuffs on and I'll just chop a kid's head on. Or someone can, I'm not too good at PShop.

Brainstorm ideas, create hoaxes, create photochops, help someone build a phony website, basically whatever you want. We're looking for people to help from all angles.

We can use everyone's help. Even if you don't want to participate in this, at least offer feedback as to the potential/funny of the stories that others have posted. These will come out better if we get a broader range of feedback.

I have an idea .. we should "watermark" our hoaxes with a specific phrase .. so that people in the know can easily identify them !

Maybe someone clever will pick up on it and we'll all be famous.

I love this. Fight Club anyone?

^^ to the email porn one, the number would be/is MUCH higher then 1 a month. Shit, anyone here gets like eleventy billion a month. Partial rewrite and make the number like 60, or say that 11% of ALL porn is delivered to underagers in those hosts.

Definately have a website to monitor visits of this stuff. Then you'll be able to see that hotmail is the biggest referrer to one, and yahoo to another. This is great.

a little modified. I dunno - the part about the parents looking at porn would be a "The Onion" style article. We're gunning for realism

A new government study has revealed that 3 in 5 children under 13 receive anywhere from ten to fifty pieces of pornographic email per month, and that eleven percent of all porn-related 'spam' messages are sent to underage youth. Authorites warn that parents should not allow children that young access to email, for their own protection.

An anonomous marketing representative of PMO productions, an adult video company said, "The fact is, the porn industry is determined to addict children to pornography while they are still under the legal age of adulthood, similar to the tobacco company's campaigns in the 70's and 80's."

Companies that provide E-mail services such as MSN, AOL, and Yahoo!, as well as local internet providers with similar services such as Verizon and Comcast all know of these tactics, yet have done little to alleviate the amount of underage childeren exposed to pornography.

In fact, AOL, dispite their recent ads showing parents relieved that AOL protects their children better than ever, a recent study showed that adult websites pay AOL tens of thousands of dollars per year to allow various messages through to users of all ages.

However, some parents have decided to take things a step farthur than the government's warning to keep children under thirteen away from e-mail.

"I couldn't believe it when I found my son's inbox had messages like one from "Charmaine Benitez". It's subject was "Would you send me a thank you card? " but inside were pictures and links to pornography." said Annette Bryson from Boulder, Colorado. "This kind of behavior is inexcusable even for large corporations, and to that end I have formed PAUPE - Parents Against Underage Pornography Exposure."

More information on PAUPE can be found at <fake mailing adress> or <website>.

-------------

added a little segue to the PAUPE part, any other suggestions?

i like the eggnog one for the season and the porn one for the rest of the year

but to make the eggnog one beter add that some company is adding additives to make people eat more, so they get fat and the company gets more profit. Mind controlling additives!

Taking it in a new direction.

Dear Mothers, Brothers, Fathers, Children and Sisters,

There is a broad sweeping problem coming over this world. As a stay at home mom, I am much more in touch with my children than most and as of late I have noticed a disturbing trend. The television is slowly becoming the devils tool for taking over our childrens minds. I have watched no less than 45 different shows that make no reference to the one true god, and many of them involve small creatures that no god would ever create. This fantasy world that is attempting to suck our children in is not only blasphemy, but also completely has destroyed the moral order in my home. I have come home from buying groceries to find my two young boys playing Ninjas! I know, these heathen television shows have encouraged my sons to stop playing Apostle as I taught them too. Sure they complained about their feet hurting for a little while, but once they suffered as Jesus' followers suffered, they finally realized what was right. But now, well they have just ignored everything that they were taught and are mimicing a dead race of people. I mean, what next? Will they be playing Muslim next? or French? I think that we need to teach these heathen networks that they must accept christ as the only true god and that they need to spread the word. Please forward this email to everyone you can, for our children at this season. Write a letter to one of the major networks, or send it to my email address and I will mass email it to them. Thank you brothers and sisters.

Your friend in the love of god,
Julia Smyth.
