Shouldn't be too bad, they're 18's, 8" front 9" rear iirc.

Guy also has a set of identical wheels which are 10" rear 9.5" front with stretched rubber bands... He wants to keep them I think. Those would be stance nation, I have no intention of doing that again.

The M3 had giant donk wheels and ghetto springs, scraped inside wheel wells over all bumps... flushed a lot of $$ trying to get that resolved. Don't want to go thru that again. Adjustability of these coilovers should be sufficient.

1993+
Wheels: 15x6" front and 15x7" rear with a 45mm offset. Tires: 195/55 front and 225/50 rear.

I originally wanted the stock 93 Turbo wheels, but tires are surprisingly hard to find.

These Rays wheels are the only good aftermarket wheels he had in stock. Not completely sold on them, I might trade them away or sell them and get something else later on. They go for ~2-2.5k apparently.

maybe consider 16" wheels?

I'm guessing the 18" will weigh a lot more and be taller than the original wheels. There is no adjustment on the coilovers that can make up for that

Do it right this time ghetto

I know what it means, I know exactly what you're saying about the overall diameter of the wheel + tire being different

people run 18's on these cars, it isn't blasphemous, it doesn't "ruin" them, and if it does, I'll change them out...

stop being such a negative (racist) nancy

This is what you should do.

17s are about as big as I'd go on something that small.

It's weird to think that you can't really get decent performance tires smaller than 17" anymore.

Very similar to the way people like you think they are qualified to give advice about cars, offer that advice, unsolicitedt, while telling people they're giving that advice to that they are idiots for not following their advice even when they themselves are complete and total ignoramuses with no experience or knowledge on the subject whatsoever.

I don't care what you do. I just like the look of the smaller wheels better.

The MR2, Z32, and MKIV pooprah just look right with meat in the wheel wells.
