As i suspected the fix for M3/4 exhaust costs $0

So the same trick still works - the "golf-tee" mod which keeps the muffler valves in performance mode (open)

voila, now it sounds fine.

BORKED

I'm a fan of BMWs and I believe them to be the best cars in their class because I see a lot of them here in town and people seem to be pretty excited to drive them.

I can't believe they put out a car that sounds like that stock.

That sounds like a v-twin riding mower. The white one.

Yeah it's pretty bad, which is surprising because they have a team of people who do nothing but listen to all the system chimes and door bings.

I used to think they are nothing but stupid tax, and then I drove a few. Realized with the m3 I could have the practicality and reliability of my toyotas with the speed and handling of my vette or better.

This is an honest question, and I am dead serious - Have you ever test driven a 2006 or newer civic si? I myself prefer RWD, and I know you do, but given your criteria, I have to ask. I mean, I spent almost TEN years criticizing the exact same car I drive today, just because it is a Civic. I'm sure you know by now how much this little beast has grown on me, and I'm pretty sure you're aware of how stubborn and arrogant I am.

I used to drive a b18b1 integra that I swapped all the type r suspension into along with strut bars. it was n2b but if I get anything else on my own terms, barring some sort of financial crisis, it will be an e46 m3

I'd be crazy to get anything else at this price point, the problem is finding a well kept one as always.

I'm surprised it took this long to figure this out.

The golf tee thing has apparently been around for a long time.

Since E36 afaik. I have a whole different cat back but it's like the first thing anyone should do. It's a vacuum line that closes the ports at high vacuum, and opens when the vacuum drops (WOT)

Plug the vac line and you're done.

I think jerry-rigging this pump might be appropriate
