Surface Book is in

Only had an hour or so but so far I'm in love. The keyboard is just incredible, and the screen.. holy shit. It's so stupidly clear. Gonna do a little battery life test tonight. I have the i7 model with the GPU option in the base, so I'm a little scared to see how much they suck juice even though I'm not a CAD or gaming guy.

Awesome! I've been thinking about getting a surface book as a replacement for my work laptop, I want to see one in person though.

Yeah, it's ludicrously expensive, but I'm getting the go ahead to make this my primary station at work using the docking station and 2 panels at my desk, and then when I have meetings or travel I just unplug and go. I think it will work out great. Transferring all of my stuff off my Surface Pro 3 now. It's crazy how much larger this thing is, yet still light. I'm digging it.

Yeah, they paid for the Book and docking station. Now I'm just going to transfer the stuff of my personal Surface Pro 3 and wipe it and sell it or give to the girlfriend. Not sure which way I want to go on that yet. Pretty sure I can still get some decent cash out of the Pro 3 and the docking station I have for it.

Been a long time. Still annoyed with myself about losing 1 of 2 races. Good times, dude.

Had a bunch of Surface 3 Pros last summer with docks and multi monitors. Left me feeling 75% satisfied. It was an intangible lack. Nothing felt quite right but close. How's the new one?

Well look who dropped in?
The Surface Book isthe 100% you've been looking for. Battery life so far is excellent, and the screen.. jesus.. the screen is just amazing. I'm totally content with this thing being my portable workstation. And yeah, I miss that truck all the time, but my friend is taking damn good care of here. She put down over 1200 at the wheels with the new setup and he's still pushing it. I'm just an old fogey now and drive a Cadi
