westie 12 is awesome. Way better if you store it. Boss gave me one that was new, it was pretty good but not great. I had on that my brother aged for a couple years. Totally different, way better. More mild, much deeper flavor, so good.

Worldwide stout is awesome as well. My brother had the one that was 18% and the one that was 21%. Both were aged for like 5 years. Pours so so dark with very little head, tasted a lot like a port actually.

Favs are belgiums (quads are the best), IPAs (double IPAs if i can find them) and imperial stouts. I fucking love the brooklyn black chocolate stout and old rasputin. Problem is that the old rasputin is $20 for 4 here

Almost anything by Dogfish I like, Old Rasputin is great for imperial stout, one of my favorite non-imperial stouts is Lion Stout, almost any heavy Belgian beer I'll enjoy, love myself some Abey Ales such as St. Bernardus ABT12, Sam Adams is a great go to beer that can be found most places too. Other IPAs worth mentioning are Cigar City Jai Lai, Lagunitas Maximus, and Terrapin Hopsecutioner. Man I know there's so many others I'm forgetting but if it's a good quality craft beer I'll most likely enjoy it.

Although unless I'm out with friends, when I'm at home I'm drinking my homebrews, there's a thread further down about homebrewing that I started.

I hate to promote Canuckistani beer when there are so many great domestic craft brews, but you can never go wrong with Unibroue's La Fin du Monde.

Lagers are just to light for me, compared to heavier ales it tastes like water and yes I mean good German lagers too. Not to say I won't drink them, if I'm outside or it's hot I'm down for a good lager.

It's tasty stuff, almost has a rum-raisin flavor. Very spicy and christmas'y. The perfect winter-time beer in my opinion.

The process of lagering is more expensive than other styles too. Its like taking extra time and money to steal the soul of a beer.

Another honorable American brewery mention is Great Divide. All their yetis are very good heavy stouts.
