No, you should go to every event and power slide all you want, without touching the cones. They can't really say anything officially if you don't touch the cones.

I do that at the Goodguys events already, but if you hit a cone or ten it's not the end of the world. They pick them up and you're on your way, and the crowd loves it. But there's no super-serious hardcore competition out there, so it's fun and shit, instead of the stern-faced no- fuddy duddies that seem to frequent "real" events

I do the same thing when I autox my TA - I'm steering with the throttle almost as much as the wheel. I never get out of second gear, so theres a lot of torque getting put down, getting on the power out of the corners is almost guaranteed wheelspin.
