What? More mods to the Cadi? THSTOP IT! :cran:

So I decided to spend a little fun money on some non warranty voiding items. It seems I just can't leave this car alone. I've been eyeing some Carbon Fiber goodies from KPE and WeaponX, and it seems the mod gods were smiling on me when KPE announced their CF vents and someone on the forums posted up a sale for his WeaponX CF side skirts on the same day. I couldn't let a sign like that just pass me by, right? So I pulled the trigger on both, and now have what I will refer to in the future as "vehicular caviar". I say that because for 1000 dollars I basically got about 2 pounds of product This stuff is LIGHT and I love it. Anyways, I took some pictures with my potato and decided to throw some up. Let the journey begin...

Aaah! "Fra-GEE-leh!" It must be Italian!

WAIT! Oh Shit. There's a hole in the box. Why is there a hole in my box? What kind of sick fuck would do this? Is everything still in there? Was it empty to begin with? Did everything fall out of that hole? Damnit! What if everything is gone? WHY WOULD FEDEX DO THIS TO ME?!?!? WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?! The suspense was killing me. I was losing control. I had to know what was in the box. I was sick with rage. I wanted to end the life of whoever handled this package. For insurance purposes I had my GF film me during this painstaking reveal, but it turns out my complete collection of Bananarama's greatest hits took too much room on my phone so she was only able to capture the seconds leading up to me finding out what happened. This is all we got, but I like to think it shows the magnitude of the situation at that point.

Sorry, it was windy in my garage so my hair wasn't exactly perfect. I'm normally much more handsome in person that what you saw there, I assure you. Anyway, I grabbed my boxcutter and started to dissect the paper sarcophagus it was shipped in. Shysctsv must have known that FedEx was going to punt this bitch from his place all the way to Florida, because he packed it like a beast. Seriously, there was enough bubblewrap to to keep an autistic kid mesmorized for about 6 years straight, and enough tape to keep Betty White's tits from slapping the floor for the next 10 years. I was truly impressed. After about 20 minutes of cutting and peeling. I was introduced to some seriously sexy car porn.

So here we go. This is NSFW. You must be 18 to proceed in this thread.

Ooooooh Mama...Look at that skirt.. You looking gooooood. You gonna flip that skirt up for Daddy?

Now show me dem buttcheeks!

Oh! You a naughty gurl huh? Well I can be naughty too. You into bondage or bonding? I hope so, cuz I'm gonna get you all sticky and then screw you. I might even drill you out and mount you right now. YOU WANT THAT?! YOU TELL DADDY WHAT YOU WANT!!

I used a combination of 3M's 5952 heavy Duty mounting tape, which is also known in some circles as 3M inventory code RICKASTLEY because once you put it on something, it's never gonna give you up, never gonna let you gooooooooo. This shit is incredible, and I use it for everything I want to stay put on vehicles. I also used some 1/4" self-tapping screws for the holes that are already in the runners. Lining it up by myself was a bit of a chore, but with the MacGuyver theme humming in my head, I rigged up an intricate system of pulleys and hydraulic presses mated to an Arduino-powered computer-controlled systems interface board using a Gucci sunglasses box and some offbrand shoebox from my girlfriend's room to stabilize the long runners while I lined them up to the inside edge of the frame.

BOOM. ON.

Now I'm debating whether to just slap the Eibach's on now and void the suspension warranty, or live with this until September. The car would look sooo much meaner with a drop now.

KPE side vents and WeaponX side skirts done and doner.

My baby resting in her room after I gave it to her good.

All in all it took me about an hour and half. It was passionate, sensual, made my body tingle, and as usual, it was 80 minutes of preparation and foreplay, and only 10 total minutes of actual mounting. Hey, I still got mine LOL!
I'm absolutely ecstatic about the new look, and she's finally on her way to being the car I had envisioned when I bought her. Next mods will be suede steering wheel and shifter. I just can't stop touching her. SHE'S TOO DAMN FINE!
LOL, thanks for reading. We now return you to real content in the other threads.

Magnuson-Moss warranty act....learn it, live it.

I'm not really into modding my cars, (did a little 10+ years ago) but unless you go full retard. you don't have to worry much about warranty denial.

I'm aware of the MM act, but I've heard it can be a really expensive battle with a dealership and a ton of time to get them to bow down if they can't prove the modification directly caused the failure. Lowering springs change all kinds of aspects with the suspension, and the magneride shit is pricey as hell. Plenty of people have done them on the V2 V's and had no issues, but I'm making sure I get the most out of my warranty (for once in my life). After September though, I'm just going to roll the dice like I always have and pulley this thing up and do everything I want to. Hopefully she holds together. They tend to start getting risky right past 650 at the wheels. I'm more than happy with 600+.

Yeah it's not too flamboyant to me, and if the flash wasn't lighting the CF up you hardly notice the difference between my black paint. It just gives the car better lines down low, which is what I was looking for.

Seriously? Wouldn't a small-footprint 32" LED work?

32" LED < 65" RPTV for my tastes, especially for the garage. I bought that bitch new in 2003 and it just won't die, so it's always been a big spare since I went DLP like 6 years ago. When it dies, the 61" DLP gets garage duty and I step up to something bigger in the living room. For now though, it rocks as a garage TV, and NO ONE is stealing that bitch. Weighs like 400 pounds. Had to winch it up on top of those tables to get it there

Get a panny plasma asap before there aren't anymore. Way above DLP, better than most medium range LEDs too in almost every aspect except power.

Power efficiency depends on the size. Plasmas under ~50 inches are generally more power efficient than their LCD counterparts. I got my parents to get in on the last generation of Samsung plasmas - 60" PNF8500 about $1,300 out the door with the shop's 5 year extended warranty (local guys) because it was their last one.
