Best Browser?

I've been using Google Chrome since the first days of beta, switched from Firefox. However, I've been having problems with it freezing, lagging, killing my internet and not displaying ANGEL/Blackboard properly.

So I'm wondering, what do you guys use, with what extensions and what do you think of it?

Browser choice is really based upon one's own preference.

In the case of web applications, like Angel or Blackboard, that make use of client-side languages such as JAVA and JavaScript you have to maintain updated and correct installs. Chrome is pretty good at client-side stuff, like JS, but I've noticed it does have the same faults that every other browser has (especially the freezing issues when trying to decipher some type of extravagent or complicated code.)

I use pretty much every browser, but Opera is probably the best vanilla install I've seen.

Opera is pretty good. I use the FF5 beta as my everyday. IE is pretty good these days, but I don't like the interface.

How is the FF5 beta compared to the stable version?

As not a power user, I choose Firefox almost solely for Adblock Plus.

Firefox, sometimes IE. Tried to use chrome when it first came out but I didn't get warm fuzzy feelings from it. I'm sure most of the bells and whistles I like about Firefox can be found elsewhere, but I really no real reason to change.

I like Google's private browsing cause it doesn't force you to exit regular browsing like Firefox does

I usually have >10 tabs open in my browser, on a computer that is up 24/7.

Opera seems to work better for this than Chrome, and much better than FF.

ive always been a huge opera fan, since the early 90s. I still use it as my primary, but chrome is pretty darn good.

Opera for slow networks cant be beat though (airports, hotels, etc). Thats how i originally got into it, it was 10X faster than any other browser on 56k
