gave op a cursory go, but this guy frankly just sounds like a bitter asshole who failed at life and made a cowardly last ditch effort to rebrand himself as a martyr in the struggle for oppressed white males everywhere. not buying it. looks like y'all covered this pretty well already - one less fuckwad in the world, i don't think i'll be losing any sleep.

found that on my own and read it. He was very, very lucky (as opposed to what could have happened, ie, no verifiable alibi).

indeed. the part that really stuck with me was when he was thinking about what might have happened had he just eaten breakfast earlier or changed what he did that day only slightly which would have removed his alibis. Freaky to think that a minor detail like that could be the difference between freedom and life in prison.

Yep. I'm for "tough on crime" as philosophy, and certainly have no moral objection to the death penalty, but it is important that measures remain and are improved to protect the innocent. The outrage here is not just that he was raped, but that the lying bitch walked with no criminal justice response. Apparently he sued in civil court, and won a confidential settlement from her (probably home owner's) insurance company, but the NDA clause of the settlement prevents him from using that to highlight her deliberate malice.

This case hits home for me because there was a time in my life when I saw this happening to me. Lucky for me, it didn't. My daughter was 3 at the time, and me and the mother had broken up for the last time. The mother is(was) a bit on the crazy side, and what scared the shit out of me was that if she felt threatened as far as losing custody, I saw myself facing some kind of sexual abuse of our daughter charges. The really frightening thing is that the mother was fully capable of ting herself into believing them. There is nothing so frightening as realizing a person's basic morals wouldn't allow deliberate deception, so she manufactures evidence in her own mind and s herself to actually believe it. That's what was fucking scary. On top of that she confessed to me that she thought I was going to kidnap our daughter (never had the thought, I'd never do that). Well how do you prove you "wouldn't do that"? You can't.

So you trust random drunk retards who shit out broodlings every 9months to actually raise their kids in a healthy way?

Yep, sounds awesome, there should be no laws regarding how you can abuse your child, I'm sure everyone will raise their kids perfectly.

Also, your son is going to have a shitty childhood because it seems like you have just avoided hitting him yet (YET!!!) just because your intimidation keeps him in line.
When that stops working (IT WILL), you'll just fall in the same track as your parents and give him a miserable childhood with abuse.

But at least I understand why you don't think there should be laws against abusing children in the context of upbringing.

Also, please elaborate on your issues JPF_, which naturally aren't a result of or aggravated by your parents mental/physical abuse.
